Learning requires a step-by-step procedure so that you won’t find it too stressful. If you want to study in college and be successful the first thing to do is to create time for yourself, don’t play away all your time on social media, sleeping, party, and playing, because time waits for no man.

Once you have your time and workload set up for the entire semester. Then you need to know how to set things done perfectly.

The following study steps will show you how to study in college and trust me to study will just be easy for you.

Step 1

Create a study plan.

Things you need to know when creating a study plan.

1 How much time do I have to study?

As a human being, you will always have what makes up your day. check what makes up your day then find how much time you have left after everything you have to do for the day.

2. What are the exact things or tasks I needed to get done during my time of study?

If you created time for yourself am sure you will know the things you need to do during these hours. Maybe you have a lot of courses to cover, an assignment or a test.

3. For how long will each task takes me?

In planning, you will have to know how long it will take you to perform each task you are to carry out because it helps you to be organized. Know the time frame for reading, for a test and doing assignments.

Step 2

Create a good study habit.

After you create a study plan, follow these plans every day; time to read, time for assignment and get used to it and do not allow anyone or anything to pull you away from your studying time.
When you are reading do not be distracted and study in a quiet place, places that allow you to be completely focused.

Step 3

Don’t procrastinate.

Procrastination is one of the major problem students has, they will be like “there is time, I will do it later”. That later you have chosen to do that work might not be the right time to do that particular work you want to do. Then the work will be postponed later and later till you forget about it.

Step 4

Take note while you are studying?

When studying, try to take a note of what you are reading so that you can easily understand and store in your brain for future use. Just look for a small note or a jotter to jot something down when reading.

Step 5

This happens to be the last step which is very important. As a student, you need to attend all lectures if not all at least 90% of your lectures. Concentrate in class and listen attentively to your lecturers and don’t be distracted. Take your notes while in class and study your textbooks for further reading.
